Inside the Blue Mosque, Istanbul, Turkey

Posted by Paul (London, United Kingdom) on 31 October 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio.

A view of the roof detail inside one of the worlds most important religious buildings. The blue Mosque gets its name from the blue tiles within. When it was built, blue dyes were more expensive than gold.
